In a move that bucks the trend of technology closures, it was announced today
that a new Marketing and Technology Consultancy is setting up practice in Asia,
called Market Evolver Ltd.
Market Evolver Ltd. is a team of experienced Marketing and Technology professionals
lead by Don Rider and Steven Tracy, who believe that good companies can become
more profitable through the practical application of marketing and technology
into their business practices.
Steven Tracy, the technology partner said, "All too often we have met
with companies who have been given unrealistic advice that typically favours
just a technological approach. As a result they end up over-buying technology
and often, they have given little thought as to how their staff will be able
to use it effectively, in the daily workplace".
"We knew the technology downturn has been too extreme, in fact it is a
case of 'the baby being thrown out with the bath water', and that if we could
form a team of experienced like minded professionals, we would be able to help
companies benefit from the introduction of technology, said Don Rider the marketing
partner.
Market Evolver Ltd have taken a refreshingly honest approach to their consultancy
based of 5 basic principals:-
Specialists
in our industry
Balance
of technology and marketing
People
who have been around long enough to be confident enough
to speak in English, rather than Marketing or Tech jabber
Practical
enough to think your problem through rather than just
throw money at it
Experience
gained in several industries over decades; so we can understand
our clients needs and be able to offer them practical solutions
Already this new approach has found favour with several companies who have
engaged Market Evolver's services including British American Tobacco, Kroll
Associates, Invest HK, and Worldwide Marketing Partners.
