Hong Kong Tens

This is a rugby tournament that Takes place on the Wednesday and Thursday before the Hong Kong Sevens weekend, the Hong Kong Tens has established a reputation as the best Ten's tournament in the world.

The Tens attracts some excellent teams from Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and the UK to compete in the main Cup competition, playing rugby at the highest level. Add to this the Tens' rugby format and you get world class rugby to watch in the carnival atmosphere of the Hong Kong Football Club. Due to its overwhelming and ever increasing success, the Tens has been held every year since 1986, and has become an integral part of the week long Hong Kong Rugby Festival.

Results

As the tournament organisation is becoming more professional Market Evolver were called into to guide the committee in developing their corporate brand and translating this into the Tournament programme, posters, advertisements, signage, tickets, ground layout, promotional HTML newsletters and their website.

Working with a limited budget it was crucial that the design was able to carry a distinct message in whatever medium was required.

The website was designed in a template so that ongoing maintenance could be done by committee members, none of whom were professional programmers. This proved successful and they managed to upload results live from the tournament and so the international press were able to file reports just by going to the site.
